Cookie policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
This cookie policy concerns the website www.evaa.chat. It describes which cookies and comparable storage this website places, what that is for, how long that storage stays in place and how you can change your choice at any time.
1. We ask you beforehand
On your first visit a bar appears at the bottom of the page with two buttons: “Decline” and “Accept”. The two are the same size, equally visible and equally easy to click. Declining should not cost you any extra effort, so it does not.
- As long as you have not made a choice, nothing is measured. Google's measurement scripts are not even loaded, so no request goes to Google either.
- If you decline, nothing changes: no scripts, no cookies, no measurement. We remember that choice, so the bar does not come back every visit.
- If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-B2CZD4QFP6) and the two cookies from article 2 are placed.
2. Which cookies do we place after your consent?
Only these two. Both are first-party cookies, placed by Google Analytics 4 on the domain of this website. We use them to see which pages get read and how visitors move around the site.
_ga
Tells visitors apart, so that a new visit is not counted as the same visit.
Retention period: two years (Google's default period, which we have not changed)
_ga_B2CZD4QFP6
Keeps the state of your visit session for the measurement ID of this website.
Retention period: two years (Google's default period, which we have not changed)
Neither cookie sits on your device as long as you have not accepted. Google acts as our service provider here, and data may in that process be handled outside the European Economic Area. What that means is set out in article 6 of the privacy statement.
3. What we do not do
- We place no advertising cookies. In Google's consent settings the signals for ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation stay permanently on denied, even when you click “Accept”.
- We place no tracking pixels from advertising platforms.
- We place no cookies from social networks.
4. Storage that is not a cookie
Besides cookies, this website keeps two small values in your browser. They do not travel along in requests to a server and cannot be read by other websites.
evaa-cookie-consent (localStorage)
Keeps your choice from the consent bar, so that we do not have to ask for it again on every visit. This value holds only the word accept or decline, nothing else.
Retention period: stays in place until you revise your choice or clear your browser's storage
evaa_utm_session (sessionStorage)
Records at the start of your visit which campaign or referring website you came in through, and which page you started on, so that a form you fill in can send that origin along. If you came in through an ad, it also holds the click identifier the advertising platform put after the address (gclid, gbraid, wbraid or fbclid). That identifier points to the ad click, not to you, and we add nothing to it.
Retention period: disappears the moment you close the tab
If you click through to app.evaa.chat to create an account, we put the origin from that storage after the address of that page: the campaign fields and, if you came in through an ad, the click identifier of the advertising platform. That way we know which ad or which page led to a sign-up. Nothing you filled in yourself travels along: no name, no email address and no phone number.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can come back to your choice at any time. The button below brings back the same bar you saw on your first visit, with the same two buttons.
Fetching your current choice.
The bar appears at the bottom of this page, with the same two buttons.
If you withdraw your consent, no measurement scripts are loaded from that moment on. Cookies already on your device you remove yourself through your browser settings. There you can block cookies altogether as well; this website carries on working either way.
6. Changes to this cookie policy
As soon as we change anything about the measuring on this website, we amend this cookie policy and update the date at the top. This page always describes what actually happens at this moment.
More on which personal data we process and what rights you have is set out in the privacy statement.
